The JJTM Presents: A Night In The Clouds

This past Saturday night was our one year anniversary party at Shipping and Receiving in Fort Worth. The idea was to have a throw back 80’s themed high school dance, and from looking at the pictures below, we think it went over pretty well.

We would like to thank Shipping and Receiving for being a fantastic host. We would also like to thank all the bands that went out of their way to come play this show and work up cover songs; I Happy Am, The Confounded, Henry The Archer, Jessie Ingle, and Waking Alice. You guys are all amazing and the night wouldn’t have been the same with out you. We would also like to thank Eric Garcia and Lance Adams for shooting the event and capturing the images below.

But more importantly, we would like to thank all of our fans and listeners! Without you guys this wouldn’t have been possible. THANK YOU!

Show 62 – Punkin’ Drunk

This week the boys are off to an odd and uncomfortable start to the show as they are joined once again by Matt “Redpants” Thomas and Jeffry the Lord. They all recount their Saturday evening at the Grotto and hanging with Aaron from Off Radar Podcast. Then the chaos got turned up when the show decided to taste and rate all the pumpkin beers they could get their hands on. Listen as a nice clean podcast turns into drunken ridiculousness. Jeff says his show is the AM side of the dial, while the JJTM is the FM side. The boys disagree and say Whiskey Boy is the FM side and the JJTM is the Sirus/XM side. We receive and read a few bad emails, and one good one. And for some odd reason Stubbs attacks Redpants’ haircut!

Show 61 – Droidekka Enters The Temple

9 People enter the temple, and, well, 9 people left the temple. The Fort Worth band Droidekka joined the guys last night to enlighten them on video game inspired reggae music. But the conversation took a typical JJTM turn when Evan revealed that he was a glass blower. Whiskeyboy attacked Stubbs so we listen to the audio and of course make fun of everything. The NFL is teaching us all that domestic violence is okay. Kanye Frog/Yoda makes his debut, and reads to 10 commandments of Kanye. Show 59 – Dappa Dan Uppercuts the Fappening

Tonight the guys were treated to another visit by the guys from the Uppercut Brew Club and Dappa Dan. Uppercut was there to uncap two of their new brews that haven’t been tasted yet, and to let the guys taste their imperial red properly named Grassy Knoll Red. Dappa Dan talked about his kick ass barber shop and to start spreading the word of his annual block party coming up towards the end of November.
