Show 55 – Nemesis Confrontation With Michael Harper

This week the boys are confronted by Michael Harper, Head Brewer at Panther Island Brewery. In the past he has poked some fun and talked crap about the boys, so they decided to have him on to clear the air. Turns out, that Michael is a pretty interesting cat, has a crazy background, and brews some pretty damn good beer. Plus he has a pretty decent set of pipes and closes out the show with a karaoke version of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity”.

Matt stays sober and sticks with water this show, Seth does the complete opposite. Dustin is plagued by terrible allergies the whole show and Wil waits patiently as his baby is due into this world at any second.

This week we get a little political when our friend Treb joins us on the show with the goal of raising Matt’s blood pressure. In the end we all realize we have the same views and thoughts. Speaking of Matt, his voice is destroyed after a rough weekend laying in a kiddie pool like a Walrus. Dustin talks about Friday night seeing the Confounded with Jeff from Funkytown, as well as losing his dogs last week. The beer was flowing like a mountain stream, and in all this was a fun episode.

Next the guys talk about the Waking Alice CD Release at The Curtain Club on Friday and the stupid protest they saw on Saturday. Dustin get’s angry at a homeless man, AGAIN, and Matt punches Casey Kasem’s family in the face. Superfan LAkyn sent us some badass pilsner glasses for us to enjoy our weekly beer in, and they look fantastic! JJTM – Show 52 – One Year And A Dill

So the guys have been at this for one year, but show up with a vibrator and throw it around the room and the wheels come flying off the show. Thanks to Richard from Henry the Archer for his impeccable timing to assault the guys while Wil was conveying his evening at the Queen concert. Richard and Dustin spent the weekend in Austin doing a bloody photoshoot then spent some time at the Branch Davidian compound. The guys release a few more details about the event they are throwing on Sept 27th at Shipping and Receiving in Fort Worth. JJTM – Show 51 – Genghis Rus and His Rebel Yell

Somehow for the second week in a row Rus from Waking Alice has slid his way into the studio either due to an error in the booking department or an exchange of cash that hasn’t been reported yet. But until we get to the bottom of things he entertained us with a pretty gnarly version of Billy Idol’s Rebel Yell.
