Show 87 – Bread Wiping With Vinyl

The boys from Vinyl stopped by to promote their shows this Saturday at Andy’s in Denton, and on March 20th at the Boiler Room in Dallas. We also discussed their latest self-titled release and its upcoming release on vinyl. The boys are also joined by the great Mike D who breaks down the most offensive band names, and just happen to come across a pretty cool band. Then the topic of bread takes over the show and using it in the most asinine way ever.

Well do to the craptastic weather we have been having over the past couple of days we are down a man, and the band that was supposed to come see us in studio decided to reschedule. So keep Seth in your prayers and thoughts, and go check out Mountain of Smoke asap! But we did have Richard from Henry the Archer join us in studio along with our buddy Eric Garcia. We get into the over fear that bad weather causes around North Texas, how good the Burning Hotels are, Dustin has a nemesis, along with some pretty meaty emails and of course news. This show is a little short because Dustin had to go back to work and save the world.

Show 84 – Tim Tells Us About New York

This show is a great example of what happens when you mix a bunch of different styles of beer weighing anywhere from 5% to 15% abv and then try to do a podcast. We are sorry, so so sorry. Our good friend Tim flew in from New York City to have a few beers and verbal diarrhea into a microphone. Matt gets stared at, a couple of times, then asks New York questions. Seth hates on the SNL40, and Dustin gets his crotch rubbed by a drunk chick in a wheelchair. We go over the surveys, try to figure out if Jay Webb from ADFW Podcast gave us a beer or a jug of piss, and Daryl brings us Uppercut’s new Amber Ale to take a taste of.

Show 83 – Duell With Two L’2

Tonight the guys were joined in studio with the band Duell, with two L’s, not the one with one L that is in Finland. We all just need to get that straight! The guys were pretty excited to finally get the guys in and talk about their latest release Back To Drunk, which they agreed was their favorite local release of 2014. If you are a fan of ultra dirty, over driven, fuzzy, nasty music then you won’t be disappointed by this album. The guys talk gear, recording, producers, beer, icemegeddon, more beer, and influences. Then Dustin has a cunty driver of the week story, Matt’s pants are excited about the new Faith No More, none of our guests like Mastodon, and Forrest has no idea what we are talking about.
