It’s our annual Pre-Pre-Thanksgiving in which we don’t give much thanks to anything. More sexual harassment, death, and vulgarity then you can shake a stick at. This is a good episode to play for the whole family as you sit around the table this Thanksgiving!
Our friends Huffer stop by this week to promote their up coming tour, which I forgot the original name for, but Matt dubbed it “Someone is leaving in a bodybag tour”. They will be playing Dallas at the Dirty 30 this Friday, The Tin Panther in Fort Worth on Saturday, and Mohawk in Austin on Sunday. All with our friends from Daylight Industries as they release their new album. We discovered a few new terms this episode, thanks to the wonderful world of Urban Dictionary.
The Orcanaut boys return to the Temple missing a drummer, but armed with a brand new song fresh off the press. They fill the JJTM boys in on whats going on in their world, and some cool new things on the horizon. like normal the conversation is all over the place, from Netflix to other podcasts. Matt recounts his Sunday going to the Cowboy game as Dustin’s assistant. Dustin has a list of the most pretentious cities in Tarrant County. Ulrich debuts his new segment, “Diddler on the Roof”. There’s an important press release from the Spectacle. And of course they talk about more Hollywood sex scandals.
It’s Halloween and the boys are up to no good at Texas Billiards. Their friends Marlin, Cuphead Thomas, and Gary stop by the broadcast to add to the already chaotic atmosphere. The show starts out with some Do For IT Halloween Showcase talk and it just falls off from there. This one is pretty much a cluster all the way through, but a fun cluster!
Just a quick reminder that our shows are now being streamed to You Tube for you to enjoy in all their vidual glory. this week show can be found here: https://youtu.be/717EYgjagwM
As we gear up for a the huge activities going down this weekend (Do For It Records Halloween Shows) Brandon and Michael find a little time in between playing with 37 bands to come and hang out with the boys in the Temple. It’s been a few moon cycles since they’ve stopped by, but on Nov 4th, Betray the Dreamer will be releasing their new ep “Shoreline” at Wit’s End with Daylight Industries and Slybot. Then on Nov 17th, Daylight Industries will release their new album on vinyl at The Dirty 30 with Huffer, Goodwin, and Those Damn Eyes. These boys have been busy and are trying to take your money before the Holiday season kicks in! If you are confused there will be links below.
The boys run the gambit this week discussing even more creepy shit about Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Smith steps up to the plate, Hollywood Babylon talks about Cindy Scull, Benson died, #metoo spotlight, and Mike Patton does a score.
Don’t forget, this weekend is the Do For It Records Halloween Show in both Dallas and Denton. Be there or be a square dumb ass.
