Show 328 – Miranda Kennedy Enters The Temple

There are a few instances in the history of our show where we become totally enamored with a guest because you can instantly tell that they are a unique soul. This week Miranda Kennedy drove all the way down from the distant lands of Denton to hang out with us and it was an absolute pleasure. Miranda is a singer/songwriter that bounces around North Texas playing shows here and there, enjoying life and whatever gets thrown her way. After talking about the weekend and hobo life we div into Miranda’s life and she treats us with not one, not two, but five different songs in studio. She’s an amazing person, and it was a fun evening getting to know her!

Show 327 – 6 Years, Can’t Abort It!

This weeks episode just happens to fall on the exact date of our 6 year anniversary. Show 326 – Garage Barrage & The Secret Entrance To MASS

The title of this weeks episode reads like the title of a Hardy Boys novel, but it’s far from it. Ranger and Ian from the super mega-hit band Garage Barrage visit the Temple this week to talk about the completion of their new album, obtaining four Panthy’s, recording in a studio, and being heartthrobs on the cover of Tiger Beat and Seventeen. The new album ‘Garage Barrage’ is released everywhere on August 2nd and the release party is August 3rd at MASS with Phantomello, Mean Motor Scooter, and Brian Breckenridge. This Saturday, July 27th, is the Jerry Jonestown Massacre Presents Ivy Anderson’s Birthday Brought To You By Do For It Records at Main At Southside. Show starts at 8pm with Cruella, New Magnetic North, Redefine, and The Spectacle. It’s going to be one hell of a party! Come out early and stay late!

Show 325 – Juma Vs DMT Meth-Gators

The winner of the Best Hip Hop Artist at the 2019 Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards and friend of the show Juma Spears stopped by this week to talk about alligators on meth, DMT, local hip hop, necking with a giraffe, and the controversial topic of women. We are just a few weeks out from Juma’s Japanese record is released and he hits the road in support of it, so we talk about everything he has planned.

July 27th is the Jerry Jonestown Massacre 6th anniversary party at Main At South Side in Fort Worth. It will be a night of music from Cruella, NEw MAgnetic North, The Spectacle, and Redefine as well as I guess a hungry hungry hippos tournament. Details can bee seen on Facebook Here.
