It’s one of those rare Tuesdays where a big show comes into town and we do the podcast while driving down the freeway. Is that safe? No. Do we get weird looks? Yes. But for some reason, some of you like these shows. Well, this one turns out hot! Stubbs is aggravated with people on Reddit, and Dustin is aggravated with the Mall. We get to enjoy Ween but are a bit confused about the show, Stubbs takes a leak on the side of the road, and the hunt is on for a bar to go hang out at. The Stars won game 5, 4-0, and is Minnesota good for anything?

Show 521 – Live From The Cicada

Executive Producer of Show 521 – Jeremie Perez

This week we were live from The Cicada in the lovely southside of downtown Fort Worth. If you haven’t had a chance to come by and check out The Cicada yet, then you are really missing out. Tyler and John have taken what was once the home of Main at South Side and turned it into a warm and comfortable environment that is great for just kicking back and having a few drinks. It is a beautiful bar, that is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to hang out. Since this was our inaugural live show we invited our good friend and local comedian/podcaster Brian Breckenridge to join us. Brian is no stranger to that room or the stage having hosted many events there in the past. It was a fun evening getting to sit down and talk with him about what’s going on in his life and to get to the bottom of these new wild Texas Ranger City Connect jerseys. The whiskey was flowing and in true JJTM fashion, things got a little wild.

Thank you to everyone who came out, hung out with us, and abused the crowd microphone to set us straight in our ways. And thank you to Tyler and John for letting us muck up your fantastic room for a few hours this week. Hopefully we do this again next month!

Show 520 – Steal This, You Idiots

We were stood up by North by North because they couldn’t make time out of their busy schedules to make it down to do the show. Oh well, their loss. They are dead to us now. On the positive though, they got us fired up and this show gets wild! Turns out we both hate the government for the way they treat the Native Americans, we hate Mark Cuban, and we hate everything that is going on in the White House right now. Thankfully we love Star Wars, and we have high hopes for almost all that was announced this weekend. We still hate Rey though.

Show 519 – Wetness Wednesday

EPOTS – Jeremie Perez

Well, this is strange. We are doing a show on a Wednesday just like we used to do 8 years ago. But the extra day off was worth it because we got Mandy Hand from Big Heaven and Susie Ramone from Fort Worth Famous to join us! Big Heaven just released a new single called Creature and has a new EP coming out next week called Void of Form. We talk about some of the cool things going on in Fort Worth this week, including the opening of the Rusty Nickel and the Side Door in the old Smoke Stack location at 2836 Stanley Avenue. AI Jeff and AI Andrew kick things off with a duet called Still LORD, and Dustin doesn’t care about many things this week.
