Show 117 – Then There Were Two

It’s just the boys in studio this week and they try to empty the slate with stories and ideas that have been floating around for weeks. Dustin starts things off on a sad note, but Matt brings the room back up with his rally against companies that use Christian in their name. Matt also broke his strip club drought and Dustin spent a couple of evenings at Shipping and Receiving. The boys also pay a special tribute to Atypical DFW Podcast and take a look at Eyes Wide Shut.

Show 116 – Jessie Frye, a Mallet, And Matt’s Red Army

The amazingly awesome Jessie Frye stopped by to talk to the boys this week, and she blended in to the normal jackass-ery of the show without missing a beat. The guys talked with her about pop music, the creation of her upcoming album, the benefits of crowd funding, and the greatness of MAC cosmetics. She also happens to give Matt some advice on a little issue he’s having after a wild weekend on the town. Emails get read, voicemails get played, and the normal audio debauchery gets thrown into your ears. This one is long (that’s what she said), but it is well worth it and includes a great conversation with Fort Worth artist Matt Cliff. The boys delve into the bands he’s worked with, the local landmarks he’s worked on, and his tenure filling in on the Off Radar Podcast. Plus we find out how crazy a softball game can be in Stop Six. Stubbs talks about his wild weekend breaking in his new ATM card and being “that guy” at the bar. Dustin took a trip to the hill country to visit his family in Junction, Texas and saw some silly racism. Plus as always, your voicemails and emails are sorted through.
