Show 239 – What The Föök Happened?

We don’t even know where to begin with this one. Seriously. Not a clue. The Fööks rolled into the Temple all the way from Hurst and quickly made theirselves at home. This episode flies off the rails pretty quick and stays completely ridiculous. Somewhere along the way we get to know The Fööks, read through some emails, listen to some voicemails, discuss the closing of the Aardvark, Dustin makes an announcement, and Russia is banned from the Olympics.

The Fööks are playing this Saturday at the Aardvark in a benefit show for Troll. Show starts at 3pm and includes Cris Curliss, Joint Efforts, Effinay’s, Gypsy Bravado and more. Find out more info here .

Show 238 – 2 Gumdrops With Aids

We kick thisshow off in a “Casually Lit” sort of way with a collection beers Dustin picked up at the new Total Wine by the Temple. We then dive into Thanksgiving, The Cowboys, and just what the hell happened to Matt at the Grotto this past Friday night. Matt makes an important announcement concerning his future before discussing the Good Doctor. Dustin asks what it would take to cut off a friendship with someone close, and then we through in a bunch of other jackassery including emails and diddler of the week.

Show 236 – A Texas Grab Bag With Rainbow Huffer

Our friends Huffer stop by this week to promote their up coming tour, which I forgot the original name for, but Matt dubbed it “Someone is leaving in a bodybag tour”. They will be playing Dallas at the Dirty 30 this Friday, The Tin Panther in Fort Worth on Saturday, and Mohawk in Austin on Sunday.All with our friends from Daylight Industries as they release their new album. We discovered a few new terms this episode, thanks to the wonderful world of Urban Dictionary.

Show 195 – We Pour One Out For Robotuner’s Insignificant Podcast

 

The week started out tough for the boys as they found out their brother-in-arms and fellow podcast buddy decided to pull the plug on his “Insignificant Podcast”. But before a stirring tribute to the late R.I.P, the boys are joined by the great Anthony Sosa from Huffer and the mysterious and often sought after, but never confirmed, Bigfoot. There’s some Super Bowl talk, some Huffer talk, some suppressor talk, some National Park talk, some eclipse talk, and teacher suspension talk. We then do a podcasting first, by playing an entire podcast inside our podcast as we say good by to Robotuner’s Insignificant Podcast and play him a song that would even bring a tear to Paul Walker’s Eye. Finally we dive into a giant bag of emails and talk with Sosa about the Josh Weathers chaos one last time. Thank you to everyone that sent in emails this week, it was highly appreciated.
