The boys are in the studio this week doing some cleanup work and going through some of the obscure stories that have come up over the past two weeks. They debut a new ad for Fort Worth Roots Annual Party at Pouring Glory on Sept 23rd, and figure out what the most iconic song of all time is. It’s a very relaxed week as the weather starts to change and the guests begin rolling in!
The boys are on the road to see Amon Amarth and Ghost at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving. If you are a fan of when they are on the road just talking about whatever comes to mind, then this is the show for you! And it’s full of all sorts of antics.
It’s been three long years since The Confounded has visited the Temple of Eye, but it’s also been three long years since The Confounded has released any new music. Well all that changes this Saturday night as there new album “Three Years Later” is officially released, and a grand release party is going down at Lola’s Saloon. Josh and Matt join the boys this week to talk about what they have been going through the last three years making this record as they go through the album track by track. The boys also introduce their new producer, “robot producer” who seems to be somewhat effective, but not really. There’s Thanksgiving breastfeeding talk for those intrigued about that, the chaos that happened at Ohio State, the South Dakota situation, and the Tennessee fires.
The JJTM presents The Confounded, Huffer, and Mean Motor Scooter this Saturday at Lola’s in Fort Worth. It’s going to be amazing and The Confounded will have new shirts for sale!
We celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Stubbs getting his arm stabbed on Thanksgiving Eve in style, live at Texas Billiards with our friends Matt Thomas (Robotuner’s Insignificant Podcast, The Confounded) and Josh (Last name redacted, Drummer – Drag The Ocean). We start the show out with a quick memorial for KDGE “The Edge” as they ceased to exist after this past week. Then comes a little bit of sports before diving into Josh’s recent “trip” to the Middle East, protecting our country from stranger danger. We also discuss the new Confounded album and play the track “Swampy” before jumping into the long awaited Chuck Norris Interview Dustin did a few weeks back. Then as the show is getting ready to wrap up, out of nowhere comes our buddies Nick Russo and Belvedere from America’s favorite band Duell, with two L’s. It turns out to be a really long show, but a really good time. Thanks to everyone that made this Stabb’s-giving extra special.
The Confounded release their new album “Three Years Later” next Saturday, Dec 3rd at Lola’s with special guests Huffer and Mean Motor Scooter. Down beat is at 9pm. Be there, or fail at life!

The boys start out this show exactly where the last show left off, discussing the election and how the world is now going to end. The election has made everyone stupid and has role reversed the lovers and the haters. Ed Brown joins the boys this week and the conversation quickly turns to beer and local breweries. Ed brought over a ton of local craft brews and most of them were consumed before the end of the show, which always makes for a great bumbling podcast. This Sunday is the 2nd Annual Fort Worth Weekly Homebrew Throw Down at Panther Island Pavilion?s Shack. Part homebrew contest, part beer festival, the Homebrew Throwdown will once again feature an all-star judge panel, NTX breweries sampling a dozen or so seasonal and unique specialty brews, a Q&A panel and award ceremony. Festivities start at 12 noon and there will be big screens showing the Cowboy game. So instead of sitting in your lounger screaming at your tv, why not come out and scream with a bunch of other people while sampling some great homebrews?
