It’s hot here in Texas, and when it’s hot the stupid people come out of the woodwork. Matt and Dustin are praying that it will all soon come to an end.
For a while now we have been told by a bunch of people that we needed to have Averi Burk on the show. In fact, it might be one of our most requested guests in a really long time. Well, the day has come and we sat down with her for a little chat at the Post before she took the stage for her weekly Tuesday night residency. Not only is she a super talented musician, but she’s extremely personable and fun to talk with. We dive into a little bit of her history growing up in the mid-cities and what she has on the books coming up. Then in the second half of the show, we come up with a few new Go Fund Me ideas and Dustin has a new reality show he wants to shop around. Plus a lot of Netflix and chill talk.

There are some shows that go from zero to a hundred in the blink of an eye, and that’s exactly what happened this week as our friends Denver Williams and BK stopped by the Temple to hang out. Denver is celebrating the 8 year anniversary of his album Hood Cream with a show at Lola’s on August 31st. He and The Gas Money will perform the album and have a few other special surprises for those that come out and celebrate this occasion. BK will give you a hug…Maybe…
Last week we were on the plane to NYC, This week we are actually in NYC. Eating its food, drinking its wine, everyone having a good time! There are some wild stories packed into this one, from Jeremie and Stubbs finding an Albanian princess to Dustin getting Thomas and Skip banned from Tic Toc. It was a wild time, all so we could see Rage Against the Machine and Run The Jewels take over Madison Square Garden.

We are off to New York this week with our friends Matt “Robotuner” Thomas and Jeremie Perez to finally see Rage Against The Machine and Run The Jewels.
