Show 300 – Josh and the Jet Noise

If I was to bet on this podcast, I never would have thought we would make it to 50 shows, much less 300. This one was silly fun too as our friends from Josh and the Jet Noise stopped by the Temple to promote their upcoming album release this Saturday night at Lola’s. Josh and Thomas are old friends of the show, and they drug along their new drummer Chris who came out swinging and fit right in. The guys from JATJN talked about their new album, playing together, and how many songs make up an ep or an lp. A silly trick was played and phone calls were made as we celebrated 300 shows.

Show 298 – We Once Took A Train…

?and they made us put it back. This week the crew jumps aboard the newest form of mass transit to arrive in North Texas, The TexRail Line. Running from the T&P Station in Downtown Fort Worth out to Terminal B at DFW Airport, the TexRail has already served 55,000 people in its first 12 days in operation. Another 8,287 took it for a ride on MLK day this past Monday, and 18,002 hopped aboard this past weekend. But on this Tuesday night, the Crew had the train to themselves.

Show 297 – Getting Lit and Doing Witchcraft with Garage Barrage

This week two of the four Garage Barrage-rs stop by the Temple to hang out for a bit. Tiger Beat’s 2019 Cover Model of the Year and front man Ian as well as Cosmopolitan’s 2019 Sexiest Man Alive and drummer Ranger give the crew the lowdown on Garage Barrage and why they are quickly becoming Fort Worth’s favorite band. Matt has some questions about hugs, Jessi tried stab herself inside an MRI machine, and Dustin saw Cracker. Plus some of us want to go to space, while others are afraid we’ll burn up on re-entry.

Show 296- Brian Laughs Our Mass Off

Local comic and all around good guy Brian Breckenridge stopped by the Temple this week. It’s been a little while since Brian has paid a visit so we catch up a little bit, talk about local standup, and how well his Laugh Your Mass Off Series is doing. After a week of contract negotiations Stubbs returns ready to work for at least another year. There’s talk of the Cowboys, Jessi lucks out of jury duty but still has to have a brain scan, WTF is KaaBoo, Texas, and of course the sinkhole on 7th. Dustin also finds an interesting list that just doesn’t seem right.
