It’s just the boys this week and they are angry. Tired of this town, tired of people who don’t believe in them, and just plain tired. But in a funny way, like ha ha.
Executive Producers of Show 578 – Tracy Reynolds, Jeremie Perez, Steve Marks. Thank you all so much!
This week the boys went and saw In Flames, Gate Creeper, and Creeping Death at the House of Blues. Since Dustin is traveling this week, they decided to do a little road podding on the way to the concert. This one gets whacky, and a whole lot of fun!
Executive producers of show 577 – Jeremie Perez and Steve Marks (Welcome aboard Steve!)
If you are an avid listener of JJTM, then you know how much geeking out Dustin likes to do when talking about photography…especially live music and concert photography. Well, this week we were invited down to the Low Doubt bar for a Funkytown Focus event by Fort Worth Camera. The event was called “Downbeat” and it featured a few of DFW’s best concert photographers (no Dustin wasn’t one of them) talking about live music photography, gear for concert/low light shooting, and what it’s like working with bands and large ticket conglomerates. We also sat down with Roman Pena and Jamie Ford and had a little conversation about the event and got into a little more in-depth with the nuts and bolts of concert photography. It was a fun afternoon and the conversation was fantastic. Thank you to Fort Worth Camera for having us out, and Roman and Jamie for sitting down and shooting the shit for a little bit.
It’s been a while since Sean Russell visited the Temple, and quite a bit has changed. Okay, a lot has changed. We start the show a little bitter talking about the current state of the Fort Worth music and arts scene. Then we get to the sweet as we talk about the new Cut Throat Finches album and the upcoming release party! Thursday, May 16th at the Silver Wheels Skate Center at 7pm. It’s BYOB and guaranteed to be a fun and memorable night!
