Show 179 – #suckitstubbs

Back at the bar for another live show with the birthday boy in his birthday suit, Matt Stubbs. Yep he turns the big 41 and we had a giant show planned, but it all fell through, and we decided to drink whiskey…lots of it. The boys explain why they are at the bar, and what is going on around the Temple of Eye. They also discuss the big weekend of The Hourly Radio reunion shows, and all the debauchery that surround those nights. They also dove into the new Backmasking Bit and tear apart I Happy Am’s song The Prophet. A list was released over the best Industrial Bands of all time and of course we have to talk about the debates. A deep throat informat joins the boys to discuss the Romo vs Dak controversy and it’s socking. Plus there is a magical email from out favorite fan of all time. Also there might or night not have been charges pressed for waitress harassment.

Show 178 – The Hourly Radio vs Allergies

It’s been a 8 year hiatus since The Hourly Radio have taken the stage, and this weekend they play two North Texas shows to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their album History Will Never Hold Me. Friday night they take the stage at Three Links in Dallas and on Saturday they play Lola’s in Fort Worth. Later this month, Oct 28th, they will also be playing a show in New York City at Pianos. The boys talk to them about their history, the comeback, and what the future has in store. Speaking of the boys, Matt returns with a new nose and he explains what happened and what he had to go through. They also touch on the debates and the greatness of “Pussygate”, an amazing Risotto recipe from the Clinton emails, and the Leaner Report.

Show 177 – Goodbye Sports Cry With STG

Matt and Daniel from Southern Train Gypsy stop by this week to say goodbye, or is it really the end? Maybe just a extended hiatus? We get all the answers and the low down on what made them decide to hang it up and go out in a storm of fire and fury. Unfortunately Stubb’s is out because he lost his nose to a Saigon whore (more on that next week), but his seat is filled by the one and only Nick Russo from the band Duell. Nick tells the tale of his time at the Fort Worth Pep Rally over the weekend, and an intimate evening with Lord Tracy at Gas Monkey Live. We briefly break down the recently released Dallas Observer Music Awards Ballet and point out everything they got wrong, including leaving a certain award winning, nationally recognized podcast off the list. And Richard tells us about his Alumni SoFar show and we look forward to this weekends Art Goggle.

Show 147 – Fuzzed Out 2016

This one is all about fuzz. Nasty big muff fuzz that’s all over your face, getting in your mouth and nostrils, making it hard for you to breath and before too long you end up swallowing that fuzz and digesting it over the course of 2-3 days. This is what it felt like getting pummeled by the awesomeness that was 9 hours of Fuzzed Out 2016. The boys had a chance to sit down with their buddies from Southern Train Gypsy, Duell, and In Memory of Man, as well as Mothership, Wo Fat, Crypt Trip, Ape Machine, Great Electric Quest, Deep Space Pilots and of course Black Pussy. It was a fantastic night of music and a huge bucket of win! Thank you to Duane and Up To Eleven for having us out, we had a great time!

Show 119 – There’s a Bigfoot in the Temple

We all would like to issue an apology in advance, we are all so very sorry for this weeks show. There are a lot of things said that are rude and classless and we would like to think we are above that.

The shining star this week though is that Bigfoot joins the boys in studioto talk about his upcoming benefit car show to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in the name of his son Joshua Kole. The show is Saturday Sept 26th from 2pm-5pm at the Cattle Barn Flea Market located at 8629 Camp Bowie Blvd West. It’s an open car show so anything and everything on wheels is invited to attend. There will also be raffles and prizes!

As for the rest of this weeks episode, we are all very sorry.
