Show 250 – Hmm, With Jessie Frye

Well, we made it to 250 shows. That’s 250 weeks of total podcast mediocrity, and that’s at least 220 more then we thought we would ever do. So to celebrate out 250th show we have an extremely tired Jessie Frye swing by the Temple to doze off in the middle of the show. She is currently celebrating the release of her new single, Why So Serious, and is gearing up for a Tour starting this Friday in Albuquerque, New Mexico. WE talk with her about all she currently has in the fire, #metoo movement, stalkers, sex clubs, and the genetic attributes between men and women. Matt introduces us to MCT and Dustin gets aggrovated by stupid people. This show is a little rough and odd at times, pretty fitting for a milestone episode.

Show 249 – Chris Ryan Enters The Temple

If you grew up in the North Texas in the 90’s and 00’s and listened to the 94.5 The Edge or 97.1 The Eagle then there is no way you could miss the voice of the man that joined us this evening, the great Chris Ryan. Chris is a Modern Day Manly Man, has been one of our favorite on air talents for years. We spend the evening talking about him being discovered in Gilmer, Tx, working in Mount Pleasant (or Mount Alda?!?), life at The Edge and The Eagle, and the state of radio today. It’s a Fat Tuesday Valentine’s Eve night this week and the boys spend it on the south side of Fort Worth at Sovereign Jewelry Company owned and operated by Branden Smith. Not only is Branden a Master Jeweler, but he also happens the be the guitarist for The Dangits and The Sun Kings. The boys explore the life of a Master Jeweler, talk the holiday that is Valentine’s Day, hit on the Winter Olympics and Kim Jong-Un, and take a look inside Matt’s sack. Show 246 – Jake Kemp Enters The Temple

It’s always awesome when a guest comes to the Temple and immediately feels like the fit right in. And that’s exactly how it felt with our guest this week, the great Jake Kemp. Jake is the cohost of his podcast It’s Just Banter and can be heard weekdays from noon to three as the producer of BaD Radio on Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket. Of course we talk about his role up at the little Ticket, and we talk about It’s Just Banter, but we also get into growing up in the Mid Cities, more on the Fort Worth vs Dallas debate, the Hawaii missile crisis, the Super Bowl, Dustin’s trip to Anaheim, and the meme floating around that is destroying friendships.
