Show 169 – The Jenny Janestown Mascara with Denver and Luke

IMG_4445

The boys are on vacation, so the girls fill in this week. Rebekah and Susie take control of the studio and fill it full of estrogen, and then have two badass guests on, Luke McGlathery and Denver Williams. And if that wasn’t enough, surprise guest Zach and Richard swing by the studio. It turns into an all star gang bang of sorts! The girls recount their time at the JJTM 3 year anniversary party, the craziness of the summer party at Dustin’s house, and get into some crazy drunk stories with the boys. It was a really great show, and they did a fantastic job filling in. There is also a secret bookend/wrap-up at the end of the episode.

Let us know what you think of the job they did!

This week the boys make a trip to the Deathstar to see Guns N’ Roses. You get to spy on their conversations as they make the drive out there and do a nice little wrap up of their 3rd Year Anniversary at Lola’s. Some drama from last weeks show is discussed, and then the boys pick up their buddy Shelby. Then it’s Guns N’ Roses and Pokemon from there on out.

Show 167 – 3 Year Anniversary With The Phantom Sensation

IMG_4256

For those that know Matt or Dustin, 3 years is a long time for their ADHD riddled minds to commit to anything. But here they are, 3 years of doing a completely ridiculous podcast that everyone was betting against. This week The Phantom Sensation joins the boys in studio to celebrate 3 years of mediocrity, to talk about their brand new album, and promote the album release/3 year party at Lola’s this Friday night. Things get a little uncomfortable as the discussion of the departure of our favorite bass player arises. Zach’s final show with the band will be this Friday night at the afore mentioned Lola’s. They also dabble into the RNC and DNC talk, the worst place to have a domestic dispute, killing your wife at a nude beach, and a declaration of war has been launched against Robotuner! Plus Cronuts are amazing and Matt likes to change the font on the run sheet>

Come out this Friday night and lets dance!

Show 166 – Jay Wilkinson Is Ready For Fun

IMG_4179Finally the question gets answered: Is Jay Wilkinson ready for fun? And the answer might shock you! (How’s that for a little click bait action?) Jay enters the Temple and spends a little time with the boys discussing what kind of perks really come with being Fort Worth’s first Artist in Resident, and he also discloses who this Bobby on Drums guy really is. A lot of art gets talked about, locally and underground, and we find out what the local climate is towards art these days. The boys also receive a lesson on Fort Works Art and Art Tooth. After the break, Brooks from the band Mountain of Smoke stops by to give away a pair of tickets to their show THIS Thursday at Gas Monkey Bar and Grill with Big Business. If you would like to attend this show, the boys have another pair of tickets they will give away to whomever sends them the best selfie to jerryjonestownmassacre@gmail.com. And remember the more skin that’s shown, the better. Finally the show wraps up with some crazy Tera Reid & Jenny McCarthy audio.

Next Friday night is The JJTM Presents: Convoy and the Cattlemen, The Phantom Sensation, Mean Motor Scooter, and Caliche Burnout at Lola’s.
