It was bound to happen sooner or later, technology can’t always be as efficient or precise as we rely on it to be. Somehow, when we finished recording this episode, the second half just disappeared. And where ever those audio files went, they also took Matt’s audio recording from the first half. Needless to say, this week has been a nightmare of search and recover, but we ended up not having any luck. So we pieced together what we could to give you guys somewhat of a show this week. It’s all over the place and really difficult to listen to. What upsets us the most is that this week was a really good show, full of laughs and enlightenment. But we live and learn, and we are going to put in safe guards from this ever happening again. We’re sorry and beg for your forgiveness.
It’s just the guys in the studio this week and this show is music intensive. They discuss the Grammy’s and the spectacle that it wasn’t, HBO’s new series True Detective, and the upcoming Sochi Olympic Games. Matt brings up an interesting topic, bands that now hate the songs they’ve written. The guys begin walking down that path, knocking out 6 songs this week. And of course your emails!
Show your support and buy a sexy Jerry Jonestown Massacre T-shirt:
The Weedman himself, Emerson Windy, joins us from the West Coast to talk about himself, life, and to promote his new single Money Up featuring 2 Chainz, Hofa Bang, and Chris Knite. We’ve been playing his tracks for awhile now, so take a listen to the man behind the mic as he relaxes and unloads in a pretty candid interview. We are asking all of the JJTMFFL and JJTM army to do their part in requesting Money Up on local radio and check out him out when he makes it to a city near you! This week Emerson will be in Phoenix, Arizona this Sunday night at the Celebrity Theater.
And as always we touch on the news, bitch about music, and read your emails. T-shirts are now available on our website, just click on the merchandise tab at the top.
