Show 94 – I Happy Am Now With Theremin!

The cutest and most fantastic couple in all of North Texas joined us on the show this week, Rebekah and Zach, of I Happy Am. They told us how things are going in their camp, the plans they have for 2015, and the addition of a Theremin. Then they blew us all away by performing 3 songs in studio that included Zach shredding it on the Theremin, if in fact you can shred on one of those. AND if that wasn’t enough, Seth graced the show with his presence! Also Mike D is with us continuing his flame throwing-bridge-burning-tour. We talk about the shows we attended on Friday night, and our scores from Record Store Day. We briefly talk about the Star Wars trailer, Matt has a Punch In The Face Of The Week, then we find out how who is the morally worse person in the studio thanks to a list Jessie posted.

Show 93 – A Mountain of Smoke

Finally after 2 or 3 reschedules, Mountain of Smoke finally entered into the Temple for a Tuesday night service. The boys discussed the bands relation to Blade Runner, being a two piece, being a teacher, talent shows, a mountain of amps, and a mountain of blow. Doty was also on hand to hang out and poke fun in the studio, while Mike D was once again holding down the Seth chair. The boys also make a call to their buddy Rus who is having a heart operation on Wednesday morning! Our thoughts and prayers are with him and we hope for a speedy recovery. Also the D Magazine article gets a quick mention, and how it flew under the radar and totally surprised the guys. And Dustin attended a Ranger game and had a quick interview with the Green Hill Kid, Trent Williams.

#HumpGames Finals – We Need Your Vote!

Every year our friends over at the Ned Files have an annual bracket game that they like to call the Hump Games. It consists of both male and female brackets to see who that years most hump-able person is. This year the JJTM boys were invited to play and Dustin’s pick of Lucy Collett aka Lucy Vixen has made it to the finals. But he’s up against some stiff competition and needs the help of you guys to put him over the top and crown Miss Lucy Vixen as the Queen of the Hump Games!

Show 92 – Cruella and the Fart Piano

“And your taint, and your taint, and your taint” is all really need to know about this show because it was out of control from the start. Cruella joined Matt, Dustin, and Mike D in studio this week but not before getting tanked and pissing on the lawn! It was greatness. We discuss how women are treated in rock music, pink guitars, our new word “Tunt”, using a tampon for rolling papers, what happens at a Cruella slumber party, chorizo’s being put where they don’t belong, did Martin Short kill someone, and of course the amazing fart piano. It was a wild ride and a complete blast! These girls are fun!
