We might have gone scorched Earth, but at this point who really cares? When an organization prides itself on its published opinions but attacks us for spouting our views, it seems a little contradictory. When the same publication wants to censor us for also speaking facts about their work ethics, well that seems that we might have struck a nerve. It’s interesting seeing a left-leaning publication that’s supposed to stand for freedom of speech and freedom of the arts for all people, attack and attempt to censor someone that is on their side. For a while now we have been told by a bunch of people that we needed to have Averi Burk on the show. In fact, it might be one of our most requested guests in a really long time. Well, the day has come and we sat down with her for a little chat at the Post before she took the stage for her weekly Tuesday night residency. Not only is she a super talented musician, but she’s extremely personable and fun to talk with. We dive into a little bit of her history growing up in the mid-cities and what she has on the books coming up. Then in the second half of the show, we come up with a few new Go Fund Me ideas and Dustin has a new reality show he wants to shop around. Plus a lot of Netflix and chill talk.
