Show 300 – Josh and the Jet Noise

If I was to bet on this podcast, I never would have thought we would make it to 50 shows, much less 300. This one was silly fun too as our friends from Josh and the Jet Noise stopped by the Temple to promote their upcoming album release this Saturday night at Lola’s. Josh and Thomas are old friends of the show, and they drug along their new drummer Chris who came out swinging and fit right in. The guys from JATJN talked about their new album, playing together, and how many songs make up an ep or an lp. A silly trick was played and phone calls were made as we celebrated 300 shows.

Show 294 – The 2018 Wrap Up

It’s that time of year again where we get together with our podcast friends and talk about our favorite things from 2018. Representing Funkytown Podcast is Jeff and Susie, and representing his own badass self is Matt “Robotuner” Thomas. We discuss our favorite music (both local and national), concerts, video games, and podcasts. Well this weeks guest is Ivy, and sure she may have a last name, but maybe she doesn’t want you to know it, or maybe we just don’t want to give it to you because the world is full of creepy internet weirdos. Speaking of creepy internet weirdos, she stopped by the temple to hang out with the gang and to correct any crazy delusions Matt and Dustin had about invitro fertilization and sperm storage. The conversation also turns to dating in a world full of apps and being groped by assholes at shows. Dustin talks about a recent trip to Savannah, Matt might be escaping the fate of an Eagles tattoo, and Jessi has a suffering Opossum in her yard.
